The Clear button also removes important (active) notifications from the notification panel. For instance: charging notifications, Sports from Google, and settings that are turned on to be shown on the notification panel, etc.
Active notifications should be persistent and can only be removed manually, not by the Clear button.
I clicked the Clear button to remove multiple notifications from the notification panel, but it removed Sports from Google, and I am still unable to get it back even after turning the Google settings off and on. To get the live score in nowbar and live notifications, I have to restart my phone, which is inconvenient.
