Bluetooth icon not visible when connecting to device

Anyone notice that the Bluetooth icon is not visible when connected to any device until you swip down the status bar?

Samsung should know about this; it should be visible to users whenever a device is connected or disconnected.

I asked them. They said it is a new feature which shows BT when quick panel is swiped down.
