Home screen widget animations are gone

Other widgets are working fine but yeah Google is acting badly. Sometimes I the animations work and sometimes they don't.

I encountered a similar situation during beta 3, but I didn't encounter any problems after re-adding widgets on the screen.

Checked with samsung calender and other widgets(works with app shortcuts)
Works 50 percent of the time and rest of the times its a simple animation which we see during exiting an app which is opened from app drawer
