Airtel SIM not getting detected

I recently switched to Airtel but my sim is not getting detected.

I tried wipe cache partition as well. 

Please help if anyone has solved it

Go to mobile network and select network operator manually....it will fix the issue

No, it will not work anytime i am 100% sure.

No, same incident was occurre with me at that time u have to insert that new sim into another company's phone when the network available then eject your sim and insert in your samsung device it will definitely work

I think it is a bug for airtel network with samsung

Select network manually. It solves the problem. I did just the same
