• The word "three" symbolizes large, plentiful, and strong, while "star" represents bright, lofty, and eternally shining.

• Lee Byung-chull was inspired by Korean folklore and philosophy, where the number three holds significance, and chose it for his first business, Samsung sanghoe, which focused on rice polishing.
