To complete all mobiles updates samsung always take around 9 to 10 months i know that because i use samsung phones from last 15 years. I purchased many samsung phones and never purchased any other company phone.. samsung have so much devices to update. But now samsung is giving fast updates than before. So it may take around 5 to 6 or 7 months may be
