Dears

 

For some reason, I see in Battery usage, the Cameralightsensor taking away too much of battery. It has been active in background. It is the highest consuming app on my mobile including those that i use. This happened overnight when phone was not being used for ~4 hours. It took about 8% battery. (I know numbers may not be too much but for a battery of this size, I dont know what is this app which is draining battery)

Can anyone tell me what is this and why is it happening ?

I applied all latest updates for F41

Anyone else with the same issue ?

Find out the apps which consume battery a lot. Select the apps not to run in background and check those apps regularly. Thats all.

Thats what I'm doing. It doesn't show System apps or things like On screen time consumption of battery etc. Any idea? It shows on Lenovo phones.

Then contact customer support or visit service center. In my A50, CameraLightSensor barely uses background data.

Turn off adaptive brightness and face lock.. (it will give some relief but no 100% solution for this)

I turned off adaptive brightness and monitoring. Does this version not show how much battery is consumed by system apps or screen or wifi etc like it does in other mobile (Levovo) ? Any idea ?

Not exactly..wont show like how much battery wifi is consuming, but will show for camera light sensor and other similar system apps

if you don't want then you have to compromise with adaptive brightness

Thank you. I'm happy to do so because I use a dark mode always. I wonder if there is some way for me to know how much does screen consume ?
