What does it mean for a device to be supported? In short, it means it has passed Google's certification process.
Certification is important because They want users to have a good experience with AR application. This is primarily related to sensitive motion tracking, which is done by combining the camera image and the motion sensor input to determine how the user's device moves through the real world.
To certify each device, They check the quality of the camera, motion sensors, and the design architecture to ensure it performs as expected. Also, the device needs to have a powerful enough CPU that integrates with the hardware design to ensure good performance and effective real-time calculations.
The strength of Android is in the large diversity of devices available across the world. They are constantly working with manufacturers to make sure their hardware and designs meet these requirements. At the same time, They are working internally to make sure ARCore integrates well with every model They certify to provide good experiences for users.
- Measure App
The Measure app is Google’s proprietary app, borrowed from its first augmented reality project, Project Tango. The app is built on ARCore and can measure real-life things by using the phone’s camera.
Just a Line – Draw Anywhere with AR
The Just a Line AR app is the creation of Google’s creative lab. The app is compatible with almost every ARCore phones and lets you have fun with augmented reality. Using the camera, you can draw or write anything on any surface. After doing so, you can walk around it to see it from different angles.
The app is mostly static and doesn’t offer many options, you can, however, record your work and share with peers.

Community GuidelinesSame here, the AR works fine on my 'old' note 8.
But somehow the brand new top of the notch s22 ultra is not (yet) supported?
Would have guessed it was the other way around.
Will keep my eyes on this page to see when its added :)

Community GuidelinesLiterally there's not even 4k video shooting. But you guys are updating every small feature in M series phones. What is wrong with A31?
This is seriously very disgusting !!!
Try to concentrate on budget phones as well. It's a very huge for a middle class man to invest 22000/- but in return getting the features of 10000/- rupee phones.
