You can use the various shooting modes in the Galaxy camera for different purposes.

The most basic 'Photo Mode' lets you shoot photos for journaling and storing scenes from your daily life. The photo mode applies the optimal resolution based on the scene at hand. The 'Pro Mode' lets the user tweak the camera settings and the result is an unprocessed photo, just as detected by the camera sensors.

But the brightness and static present in the original raw data output from the mobile camera sensors are not fit for pro photography.

This is where 'Expert RAW' comes into play. This app reduces noise, increases the detail and clarity of pictures using multi-frame capture technology. Moreover, the higher dynamic range allows more information on highlights and shadows to work within a single shot.

Expert RAW is a downloadable application that lets you achieve photos of high quality with a high dynamic range. It supports 16-bit computational raw conducive to pro photography and editing.

(1) Control features like ISO, shutter speed, EV, focus, white balance, etc.

(2) Custom preset

- This feature stores the camera settings value used frequently. This custom preset can be used again for the next shoot

(3) Preview histogram

(4) Special Photo Options ※ Beta service available in S22 One UI 5.0

- It has features like multiple exposure and astrophotography

(5) Viewer > Go to Adobe Lightroom

- Expert RAW dedicated profile and editing features available via Adobe Lightroom

(6) Settings > High efficiency RAW

- Provides an option to take RAW photos in a high-efficiency format to cut down the storage space

(7) Settings > Save Pictures in

- Menu for users to select the file format they like (You can select between RAW, JPEG, RAW, JPEG)

How to use Expert RAW 

(1) Download Expert RAW from the Galaxy Store

(2) Shooting and Editing

- Choose the right lens for the subject you want to photograph.

- High-quality dng and jpg images with lossless JPEG compression technology are saved in keeping with the photo storage format settings.

- You can edit your photos using Adobe Lightroom after selecting the Lightroom icon from the viewer and installing it.

A vibrant scenery reveals itself after you apply an adequate amount of exposure to the underexposed landscape. You reduce the highlight from the blown-out clouds and lift the shadows off the greenery by exposing it a bit.

Why don’t you try creating a unique vibe by applying colors to the highlight and the mid-tone?

Once you're done editing, you can save it to your gallery album as a DNG or JPG image via "Save to Device" or "Export".

Scroll down the quick panel at the top > Swipe right and click the ⊕ button. Drag the ‘S Pen Air Action’ icon down to add button > Done

Long press the ‘S Pen Air Action’ icon (over a second) > Enter options > Select the air action to use in a particular app

Click the ‘Expert RAW’ app > Swipe the activate button on the screen right > Launch Expert RAW and take a photo using the S Pen
