BengaluruHey, Yes rice is a form of simple carbohydrate which digests quickly and gives a spike to your blood sugar level and in night as we do nothing and just sleep after dinner such consumption of quick blood sugar raising food which provides you calories is not good for your sugar level stability because as carbohydrate, if eaten in access it gets stored in your adipose tissue as fat and it is known to increase cravings (which lead to eating more white rice) so one should avoid white rice not just in night but during the whole day, but you can consume that after a workout.
