customization of messages

how can i customize my message app?how to put some backround on it..cos i saw it on youtube,his s8 have so many backrounds to choose for..but mine is just a little

you can go to messages >>> settings >>> backgrounds

there you can choose from the pre-installed backgrounds or you can browse your phone and choose a picture of your choice

but on youtube its messages>>>customize>>>backrounds..and he have more options..not like mine..so little

may be that was before the last major update we had , check the date of the YT video
