For now, the update is in beta. You can join the beta program if you want but, if you want to wait for the official release it might take until a month or two

Not really but, Beta updates are not stable and 100% reliable so you may face some issues while using (MAYBE). Issues include crashing and some apps may not respond but mostly it's fine don't worry about it.
