Update: S7

For all the people anxiously waiting for the oreo update, it's release is very close, probably in the month of May. Today Samsung released the oreo update for the Galaxy Note FE and in the past week also for the A3/5/7 2017 models. Samsung turkey has announced to update S7 to oreo on May 18. May I tell you this date is ONLY for turkey. According to where you live you might get the update early or even later. If we look the trend of updates over the past few years Samsung should have updated the S7 before the A series which they didn't do this year which means the oreo update for the S7 users is right around the corner.

what about note 5

Samsung provides 2 major updates to its flagship phones. Note 5 has already gotten both updates. Samsung will not update Note 5 to oreo.

Samsung has finally released oreo for the s7. Currently the update is rolling out in the UK and should be available to all near the end of May.
