The usually very reliable leaker Ice Universe was not the only one to speak out this morning on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), announcing that Samsung had unexpectedly halted the update to Android 15.

Thank you for your enthusiasm about the update. Please note that the update is ongoing and has not been paused, you can check the update schedule through the Samsung Members app by selecting Notifications, then choosing Update Schedule.

Please note that updates are rolled out to phones gradually. Once the update is available for your device, you will receive a notification. You can also manually check for the update by going to:
Settings > Software Update > Download and Install

You can also update using the Smart Switch application.
You'll need to install Smart Switch on both your computer and mobile device.

Steps to update:

Start by connecting your device to the computer using the USB cable that came with it. Then, open Smart Switch on your computer.

If a software update is available, Smart Switch may prompt you automatically to update or give you the option to do so.

Click Update and follow the on-screen instructions to download the required files.

Click OK to continue. Do not disconnect the device during the update process.
