After updating my Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938B) to One UI 7.0 with the latest May 2025 patch (S938BXXS3AYDA), I’m still facing a persistent issue:
When trying to unlock the phone using the power button or fingerprint, there’s a 2–3 second delay before the screen turns on. The fingerprint is registered, but the screen stays black briefly.
I’ve already done:
- Factory reset (clean setup, no backup)
- Disabled Face Recognition, AOD, battery optimizations
- Switched from gestures to buttons
- Changed resolution (QHD+/FHD+)
- Disconnected Galaxy Watch
- Installed May 2025 update
Still, the issue continues.
I’m wondering if others are experiencing the same and if Samsung is aware. Hoping for a fix in a future update.
