I hate my S25 Ultra! I updated from a Note 9, so it would seem, with the huge range of models in between, that life now would be a lot easier, but on the contrary! S25 ultra has removed many previous settings that were much more convenient. I hate almost everything about the Notifications now. I just discovered there's not slot for a 3.5mm headphone. And who knows what else will come up with use. It is soo annoying. Were it not for the, now, bad battery, I would go back to the Note 9 in a heartbeat! Uh! Am I the only one?

You can return to the old notifications style by following the steps in the images

Yes it is disappointing that the 3.5 mm slot has been removed, but you can use a USB Type-C headphone instead1755076153437.png1755076154059.png1755076154519.png

Thank you. This is something I already did. I was talking about things like stacking similar notifications together, and no LED notification for new notifications except through a third party application that requires turning on the Always On Display, which is something I don't want because it will consume the battery. Also, I have a number of different email accounts, but the notifications now doesn't show which account it's coming from because notifications are now oval instead of rectangular (card). The battery percentage is way too small and so is the time (even with a widget).

The LED notifications are from the past. They have removed it to reduce the phone's bezel
There are some alternatives like the notification sound and vibration
You can also show always on display when you get a new notification and it is not battery-consuming because new AMOLED monitors are way more efficient

You can make the notifications be shown chronologically
The other issues are related to one ui 7 which Samsung is not going to solve in one ui 81755081762373.png1755082280338.png

I have a Samsung note 20 ultra, not bad.
But certainly lacking in battery and optimisation. Android 13 too.
Was considering a custom rom.

Unfortunately mobile phone brands now target an approximately 2-year period of optimal phone operation in order to push people to buy newer, higher models!
