S23 Ultra always on display

Hi guys,

I have a problem after updating my S23 Ultra to the latest One UI 7, my always-on display keeps turning on even if I disable it from the quick panel settings or from the settings menu itself. Can someone tell me how to fix this issue?

Go to settings > Lock screen and AOD > Always on display > When to show
Change it to 'Tap to show'

I did that, and when I leave the phone and get back to it, I see that the always-on display is on. I tried all options, and nothing works as intended, and I don't know why.

Did you update to One ui 8?

I am concerned that this version may not be stable and could potentially lead to further issues.

It is not like one ui 7
It is more stable and I haven't seen any major issues with it
Make sure to make a backup before updating

to compare it with the version that I received
