Hello,
I have found out that many photos are automatically deleted from my phone samsung s25 ultra.
I have checked recycle bin and hidden folders didn't find them
I have contacted as well Samsung contact center and after investigation and remkte troubleshooting using Smart tutor, they told me that the reason is behind Google Photos is out of storage.
I am not getting yet why it automatically deleted photos without any permission from my side because I have used many phones android, Iphone and haven't face any issue like this before.
My internal storage is not full yet. As per my knowledge, when storage is getting full it restricts permissions to gets access to gallery or taking new photos but not deleting randomly photos
My sister has also S23 ultra and her internal storage is full and google ohotos storage is full. However, she didnl't face this issue before.
Is there a known issue in S25 ultra ? Has anyone faced this issue in his phone ?
Are there any recommendations to resomve the issue ?
Looking forward to your urgent feedback.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi there! Congrats on your new S25 Ultra, though I’m sorry to hear about this frustrating issue.
Automatic photo deletion is definitely not standard behavior. Here are a few things you should check that might be causing this:
Google Photos "Free Up Space": This is the most likely culprit. Google Photos has a feature that deletes photos from your internal storage once they are backed up to the cloud. The photos stay in the Google Photos app but disappear from your device's Gallery. OneDrive Sync: Samsung Gallery syncs with OneDrive. If you (or someone with access) delete a photo from OneDrive on another device, it will be removed from your phone automatically. Check the OneDrive Recycle Bin. Third-Party Cleaning Apps: If you use any "Cleaner" or "Battery Optimizer" apps, they sometimes have permissions to delete "redundant" or "large" files automatically. Storage Logic: If your Google storage is full, the app might be struggling to sync, leading to indexing errors in the Gallery.
Quick Tip: Try turning off "Backup & Sync" in Google Photos for 24 hours. If the deletion stops, you’ll know the issue is related to cloud settings rather than the phone's hardware.
