Moisture detect

It prevents the device from charging when it's closed however I dried it a lot but there's no change I searched and found that during starting device I should press on the volume and power buttons together I did that and the device complete to charge but I afraid if that would harm the battery

Does the message of moisture appear repeatedly? and did you replace the charging cable?

No after I press the two buttons of volume and power together it didn't repeat again
