Dear Samsung Members,
I have been experiencing a persistent issue with mobile data connectivity during video calls across multiple Samsung Galaxy devices over the past few years.
Issue Summary:
During video calls on apps like Snapchat, WhatsApp, and others, I notice the two arrows next to the signal bar (upload and download).
Whenever either the upload or download arrow disappears, the video call freezes or drops momentarily.
The call resumes normally once both arrows return.
Devices Tested:
Galaxy S22 Ultra
Galaxy S23 Ultra
Galaxy S24 Ultra
What I've Tried:
Using only one SIM (disabling dual SIM mode).
Testing on both 4G LTE and 5G networks.
Disabling data saver and background data restrictions.
Modifying APN settings according to my carrier (STC).
Disabling auto-switching between networks and other smart network features.
Testing on stable Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Signal is consistently strong (especially 5G).
Carrier & Region:
STC (Saudi Telecom Company)
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Despite trying all of the above, the issue persists. This leads me to believe the problem may be related to Samsung’s network management, modem firmware, or One UI background data handling during high-bandwidth activities like video calls.
I kindly request your support in analyzing this issue and reviewing the system logs, as it seems to affect multiple generations of Galaxy devices.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

I have noticed the same problem. I thought it is related tothe network provider but didn't use any different providers to test this theory
