جالاكسى SYou should've specified mention which app you are using
you can disable Super HDR through Gallary settings and video brightness through Settings - advanced features - set normal instead of bright

جالاكسى SDisabling super HDR only affects the gallery app itself not other apps and especially not Netflix..
The issue that the phone changes the brightness of any hdr content based on environment. That makes any HDR videos look awful if the lightning in the room is dim and makes any dark scenes hard to see or outright black

جالاكسى SHello, welcome to Samsung community, we would suggest checking that you have enabled "normal" brightness under Settings>Advanced features>Video brightness

جالاكسى SThe issue is that the phone tries to adjust the brightness based on my lighting environment even in HDR movies. It doesnt stop at a set brightness and the brightness it chooses is too low. So if im watching with my lights off it just lowers the brightness to an unacceptable level.
I have other phones from other brands and none behave this way.
