After the update, the eSIM is not functioning again, don't know the reason.
Is it common for others? If happened to anyone, what can be the possible solution?!

You're definitely not alone — eSIM issues after a software update are relatively common, especially with major iOS or Android version upgrades. It can happen across different devices (iPhones, Samsungs, Pixels, etc.). Here's a breakdown of why it happens and what others have done to fix it.
🔍 Why eSIM May Stop Working After an Update Carrier Profile Disruption: The update might have corrupted or removed your carrier's eSIM profile. Network Settings Reset: System updates sometimes reset network settings, breaking the eSIM link. eSIM Activation Bug: The phone may fail to reinitialize the eSIM activation properly after reboot/update. Regional/Carrier Incompatibility: New firmware may bring different carrier policies (especially if sideloaded). eSIM Disabled: On some phones, post-update bugs can toggle off the eSIM or switch the default SIM slot.

These steps usually resolve the issue:
1. Toggle Airplane Mode
Sometimes this is all it takes. Try:
Airplane mode ON for 30 seconds → OFF again. 2. Restart the Phone
Simple, but can help reinitialize eSIM services.
3. Check eSIM in Settings
Go to:
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Your eSIM Line Android (Pixel/Samsung): Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs
Check if:
The eSIM is still listed. It’s enabled. It shows "No service" or “Not provisioned”? 4. Reset Network Settings
Can often fix eSIM activation problems:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Reset > Reset Network Settings
⚠️ You'll lose saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings.
5. **Delete and Re-add the eSIM

The eSIM is reinstalled again, tried with all the ways for working like roaming was on and the R on signal area is shown but not getting any kind of internet connection

If you.are getting signal and the (R) sign this means it is working and it is roaming which means everything is fine
Either you are not allowing data while roaming (then you need to activate it from Settings) if still not working then try manual network selection and try different operators (vodafone orange etisalat) as sometimes the provider of the esim has data roaming agreement with specific operator
Otherwise may be the data bundle you have purchased either finished or expired (check from the app of the esim provider under your account)
