Have you tried another USB charger for the device?
Is the battery original or not?
Is there a problem or breakage in the charging socket?
Is there a problem with the charger used?
Is there any swelling in the battery?
Make sure the charger is original.
If the problem persists, please perform a factory reset on the device.

← Erase All.

جالاكسى SI too am having this problem after the last update was performed a few days ago. I am using super fast charger which used to work exceptionally well but since that update, the cords I've tried will only work in 1 direction and the super fast charger is no longer super fast but the same speed as other, older chargers. I was wondering if you have had any luck resolving this issue as it's really beginning to be a problem cause I'm not used to verifying the direction I plug the cable in to my phone. Thank you!

جالاكسى SYeah, the same thing's been happening with my S24 Ultra since the end of last month. I got a new cable, but it's still doing it. I even tried charging it with my old Note 8 charger, and it worked on both sides. I used the Accubattery app, and when I plug it in one way, it shows 25-30W, but when I flip it, it sometimes charges, but the current goes negative, and it keeps reconnecting. I tried the Note 8 charger, and it worked, but not super fast, obviously. I also tried a 65W charger, and it's still the same. My phone's still under warranty, so I'm gonna take it to service center . I think it's a hardware issue, probably a bad charging IC.
