So I had an s22 ultra paired with a galaxy watch 4 classic and the range was pretty far , I'd leave the phone in my room to charge and go outside and the watch would still be connected.
Now that I have an s23 ultra, with the same watch , the range has shortened, I can now barley go the next room without it disconnected
If your smartwatch is connected to Wi-Fi, and your phone has a Wi-Fi or cellular network connection, your smartphone can be anywhere you like. The Wi-Fi network doesn't have to be the same either. If your smartwatch isn't connected to Wi-Fi, keep it within 30 feet your phone.
