I didn't receive the security update for the previous month (May) .

Samsung offers regular security updates for Galaxy product launched before 2019 also for max 4 years but, it depends on factors including available hardware specifications of device, complexity of the update, as well as chipset vendor and 3rd party’s support so on.

you can check the device settings-software update or You can also download Smart Switch on your mobile phone and a PC or Laptop, connect them using the USB, if there is an update available for your device, you will be able to update it via Smart Switch.

Last security update for my device S9 was on (2021/4/13) after that date I didn't receive any new updates why ?

Based on this, Samsung releases monthly and quarterly firmware security updates on selected Samsung devices. But, the availability of security update support may vary by device and market. Also, some carriers may only support quarterly updates for all applicable current models.
