How to perform wipe cache partition M34

Can any one tell me how to perform wipe cache partition 

Earlier it can be done by pressing power and volume up button simultaneously when phome is switched off and connected with usb C cable with computer or another mobile

now can't be done

As instructed, simultaneously press and hold the power button and volume up button while connecting to the PC or laptop; release the button power button while start screen is displayed and keep holding the volume up key until the recovery mode shows up.

You're welcome. I have identified the missing step: Release the power button while the start screen is displayed, then continuously hold the volume up button.
