While writing randomly on any keyboard (tried Samsung and G board), the phone will sometimes throw in an extra letter of the one I recently typed.

It'll look like "teset" instead of "test" for example.

I've tried a different screen protector and several settings with no luck. Is this a software issue?

Try another keyboard like Microsoft Swiftkey and make the keyboard size bigger

Now the repetition doesn't skip a letter hahaha. "Skkip" "reppetition". This is the weirdest bug.

I don't understand
Did it solve it or make the matter worse?

Neither! Instead of the extra letter skipping the next letter, it now gets added twice in a row. Sometimes it happens almost every word, and other times like when I'm typing this message rn, it won't happen at all. Driving me crazy.

Return to Samsung keyboard and change the delay to be slower

Does this happen while typing fast only or does it happen even when you write slowly? Tzxslh2n91.png

I've turned on high sensitivity touch mode on and so far it seems to have worked. Even though it didn't work before. Hopefully this is the last of that issue. It used to happen more when typing fast, but no reliable way to replicate it. 😮
