I am having problem with my GPS. Cannot navigate to any place. Whenever I try to start navigation it says GPS signal lost. Any help in this regard will be appreciated

Follow each step & notify me which solves the issue: 

1. Get into Settings - Location - app permissions - look for Google maps - choose allow all the time

2. Go back - choose Location service  - turn on WiFi - & Bluetooth scan

3. Press & hole maps app - app info - battery  - tab unrestricted 

٤- If the app that uses GPS is set to sleeping apps - try to remove it from Device Care - Battery  - Background usage limits

None of these worked. I am going to try some other navigation app. Hope there is no problem with GPS unit.

Restarting your phone might help solve the issue temporarily. It might come back after a day 

Does the issue happen after the latest update? or since your purchase?

Installed Waze and tried driving some distance. It works fine. Already lost all the data while visiting jarir for fix.

The signal lost issue can be solved by downloading the third-party app from Google play store

It is very dissppointing and frustrating to see that GPS is not working on my Galaxy A55 5G (256GB storage 12GB RAM) smartphone. Me and my family got into troubles during navigation several times because of the GPS navigation failure in Google map. I have tried all possible solutions available below.

1. Disabled and Enabled Google Map
2. Cleared cache/cookie and restarted the application. Restarted the phone.
3. Veirified all required permissions. Infact even removed google maps from sleeping and deep sleeping apps list.
4. Verified location accuracy and both Wifi scanning and Bluetooth Scanning is enabled by defult under location services settings.

Finally Google map worked only after uninstalling all the updates from app settings/information and using old version of Google Map. Kindly let us know whose fault is this bug ? Is it Samsung bug or Google bug ? This is a daily used application and negligence of this is unfortunate and intolerable. Fix it is ASAP please.

Maps with updated version also started working on my Samsung Galaxy A55 after a critical update from Google. Search Auto Blocker in settings and check updates. I learnt this after losing all my data.
