one UI not suitable for the Note series

The latest update ( one UI ) is nice and easy,  but it took a lot of my note 8 essence,  
I can't use the split screen
using the camera is not as easy as before
can't Customise the contact's notifications
the gallery is very bland

never thought i'de say this but I miss Oreo 😕
yes its not as quick or smooth, but there is so much veriety & quantity of Note's special ways

when you go in recent menu click on any app icon then you can check split screen option
