Please check if Smart select works inside secure folder. On s8 it stopped after the update. Oreo software upgrade was unfortunately a downgrade for me.
To get smart select inside secure folder we have to uninstall secure folder completely ( but first backup secure folder data) then reinstall the secure folder. Try smart select and it will work.
