This upgrade was first spotted by SamMobile earlier in the week with some Note fans in Germany getting early access to the changes.
However, the latest news suggests more people are being treated to this upgrade with recent reports suggesting those in areas such as Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK have been able to access this download.
So what's new from Samsung?
Along with the usual security patches there's two main reasons to get this system update on your Note 9.
The first bonus extra offers the ability to schedule the new Night Mode on the device with the phone then automatically changing to a darker colour scheme.
Night Mode was introduced in Samsung's last One UI update and makes the screen much easier on the eyes when the sun goes down.
Until now, Note 9 owners had to switch this option on when they wanted to use it but the scheduling changes that with things automatically switching at a set time.
Next up there's a significant change to the front-facing camera with Samsung now adding two modes to shoot your selfies with.
These include a wider angle for group images and more close up when you just want a giant picture of your face.
This camera update was added to the Galaxy S10 and S9 phones and Note 9 users are sure to welcome this change.
