The Audio Eraser feature allows you to adjust or remove distracting background noise from your videos, such as wind, crowd murmurs, or ambient sounds, while preserving essential sounds like speech or music. Using this feature, you can create cleaner and more focused videos directly from your Galaxy devices.

What is Audio Eraser?

Audio Eraser is a smart editing tool within the Galaxy Video Editor. This tool automatically analyzes the audio in your video and identifies sound sources like voices, music, wind, and noise. The noise is classified more accurately based on what is detected and may appear as the audience, nature sounds, or noise, depending on the type of environmental noise.

Instead of muting the entire track, the Audio Eraser feature allows you to selectively reduce or even enhance each type of sound using sliders.

To remove unwanted noise from a video you have already recorded or to maintain clarity of voices and music, follow the steps below:

It can detect specific types of sounds as outlined below, and the result may vary depending on video conditions:

  • Relatively clear voices of nearby individuals
  • Wind noise or outdoor air gusts
  • Background music
  • Nature sounds like waves and birds
  • Sounds of groups of people, such as cheering or clapping
  • General unclassified noise

Note: You can also click the "Listen to Original" button in the top left to listen to the original sound during editing, allowing you to compare it with the modified sound.
