If your Galaxy phone displays "Cannot launch the camera," the issue may be due to a temporary error in the camera app. Follow the steps below to delete the app data, restart your phone, or perform a camera check using Samsung Members.

 


Deleting Camera App Data

This issue may occur due to a temporary error in the camera app. Deleting the app data can help restore normal operation.

Note: Deleting the camera app data will reset all camera settings to their defaults. Photos and videos will not be deleted.

  1. Go to Settings > Select Apps.
