Galaxy Unpacked Event

The unpacking event was a success, especially with the wearables: the watch, buds, and the ring.

The Fold 6 has an impressive specs, including the processor, refresh rate, AI, and more. However, I have some concerns. I had hoped the cover screen would be wider similar to other competitors. Although it has gained a couple of millimeters in extra width, the phone still feels awkwardly narrow when closed. This makes it inconvenient in situations where opening the phone isn’t practical, and typing on the cover screen still remains challenging.

Additionally, it would be much more convenient if the pen was housed within the Fold, similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. As a photographer, having the pen integrated into the phone would significantly ease photo editing on the larger, unfolded screen. Moreover, I wish the Fold 6 had the same camera quality and resolution as the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

I checked Fold 6 today at launch in Dubai Mall.
Fold 6 now feels normal size to use when it's folded. Previous Fold series phones were too narrow. Fold 6 is definitely much improved in that sense. Please check out and then decide.

I was also at the launch in Dubai Mall and checked out the device. Like I said, the screen is definitely better, but 1 mm wider isn't really that much. I just wish it was a bit wider, like the other foldable phones.
