Samsung Wallet is expanding support for mobile payments to these 13 countries

Earlier this year, Samsung completed its plans to make Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass more versatile by moving them into one place. By using the Samsung Wallet application, the company hopes to facilitate access to all your virtual identifiers, passes and cards in one place. The app is already available in eight countries, but a new wave featuring an additional 13 countries is expected to start before the end of the year.

In the coming months, Samsung will introduce the Wallet app in Bahrain, Denmark, Finland, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Vietnam, and the UAE. They are located next to the markets where the app is already available: China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

All this means that India is going to be missing on Samsung Wallet until the champagne is open for 2023.

Also, I'm not sure when that's going to happen in Sri Lanka and other places. This could occur in the near future, but we always need an official word.

Samsung Wallet lets users make payments using their credit or debit cards and manage their access to membership cards, boarding cards, and even cryptocurrency wallets.

Wallet can even store personal identity cards and government-issued documents such as drivers' licences and protect their access by requiring biometric authentication to unlock the app. That's a few steps ahead of what Google has to offer with Google Wallet, but the challenges of offering digital driving licenses is one around the world.

The app is available on the Google Play Store and Samsung’s own Galaxy Store for apps.
