When will The above mentioned updates be released in ZA, Considering Africa is one of Samsung largest markets productive updates should be made available, Samsung like every other vendor shows that their "cash cows" don't deserve the latest technology updates for what ever the reason. Makes me wonder whether to continue using the brand or switch to a competitor that is willing to provider details on the new features as well as release dates. Samsung does not even provide for an early adopter program is shows an almost non interest in client satisfaction.

We'll get it after the S24 is released. It's a 'strategy', they think people are so desperate for their software updates they'll buy a new phone not realising it turns off users of those older phones from the brand. They only do this in SA.

Africa is always last .. apparently start south then north America. Then European countries , Asia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand.. then to Africa ..

Yep I used Huawei before got updates on time but samsung doesn't care about us

Samsung puts the blame on network operators for also delaying the release OTA. But overall Samsung will regret this move. December 2023 all the qualifying S series should have received the update m

If it was a Samsung issue why then do all other nations have the update and not southern Africa

Just an addition, I have a Z Fold, was planning to get the Fold 6 when announced, work great for me, with this little debacle I am considering against using Samsung, not the first time they pulled BS like this.

Same boat, Apple proves time and time again how closed and proprietary they are, so much of choice but so few to choose from.
