what tv is it?
If its a smart tv go to cast in settings then enable wireless direct, it should work

firstly check out the kind of tv you're using, if it offers screen mirroring or cast. and if your phone has smart view. you can connect to the tv using Bluetooth and wifi but you have to pair up your phone and tv first then from there it's as easy as operating it from samsung music and other supported applications
