Hi All,

Can anyone please advise why a 2024 model Smart TV does not support DFS channels in South Africa?

According to this link, we have the following channels available to us in South Africa: 52-64 and 100 to 140 to utilize the 160MHz band.
My connection is stable without any Radar interference knocking me off my current control channel 64.

All other devices in my household, from DSTV to smartphones to even old AC adapters, are able to use DFS channels, including an Xbox with a wireless AC adapter.

Channel 36-48 is oversaturated in our location with neighbor networks, thus the decision to use the DFS Channels.

However, on this Smart TV, the Wireless SSID is simply not visible at all in the DFS channel range.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels#5_GHz_(802.11a/h/n/ac/ax/be)
