I have galaxy M31 having 6000MAh battery. It has two types of charging . First one is 15 Watt fast charging and second one is regular charging. Can anybody tell me when to use which type of charging. Also its effect on battery life and how much time time it take to charge.

when you buy the phone and as soon you plug in the charger your phone by default is in fast charging mode. it will take around 2 and half hours to fast charge your phone using the 15 watt charger. if your battery is less than 50 or 40 percent, you can use the fast charging option. if above 80 or 85 percent you can switch to normal charging. You can change that in the settings(device care>battery>charging). Then it depends on your needs. Actually fast charging is not that good in the long run for your battery. avoid full cycle charge from 0 to 100 everytime. charging upto 80 percent is better for good battery health in long run.
