S9 plus battery problem

My phone suddenly switch off in 18% battery. Can anyone explain, is this battery problem or software?

try to reset your mobile. Samsung suggests reset after software update to fix bugs. if problem persists then check with hardware issue in service Centre.

Go to Settings > General management > Reset > Turn off auto start.
