Who al are facing finger print scanner problem in A50.. I m so fed up .. is thr any hope of any solution to it in near future..

Go to settings > search optimise battery usage > tap on that option >make sure its selected on All > then search for com.samsung.android.biomet
ric or you can search biometric then uncheck that option.

open Settings, go to Apps, tap the 3-dot menu button at the top and select Show system apps. Next, search for com.samsung.android.biometrics.app.settings and select it. Go to Battery » Optimize battery usage and make sure you have selected All apps from the drop-menu at the top. Search for com.samsung.android.biometrics.app.settings again and tap the toggle to disable this function. Reboot your phone to apply the changes.

Kindly follow the below mentioned step to improve the performance of the device:

Reregister the Finger Print: Settings> Biometric and security> Fingerprint > Continue> Set a screen lock method> Continue> Set a screen lock> Register Fingerprint

We recommend customers to use only Samsung approved Screen protector.

For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application> send feedback > error report/ask questions).
