Dear samsung,

Last night i received a software update and After software installation my phone suddenly shows blue screen and it's show software fail. It display some error saying ODIn doesn't match. Even after using volume down key and power button its not rebooting. Kindly suggest or provide solution for the same asap.. As theres is lockdown we cant go to service center.

Very upset with samsung... never expected this kind of software patch failure. disappointed like hell....

earlier lockdown was for human now its for my phone also.

please provide the solution asap......

My Phone crashed after April-1 OTA update.

Only way to resolve the issue was to install official stock firmware.

Followed below steps for successful resolution of the problem:

1) Install Samsung USB Drivers and ODIN for Android 10 on your PC - v3.14.1 (Android 10 version) : https://www.dropbox.com/s/f6b08rsxk1tdxck/Odin3-v3.14.1.zip?dl=1

2) Download Galaxy M31 official stock ROM (Full speed download) : https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-M315F/INS/M315FXXU1ATB7

3) Refer these URLs for Stock ROM installation details :

https://www.getdroidtips.com/how-to-enter-download-or-odin-mode-on-galaxy-m31/

Important Note: Select CSC file if you want to do a clean install or you can Select Home_CSC if you want to keep your apps and data.

New Update :

Just now installed the latest firmware with April-1 patch. Working fine.

I have followed the steps mentioned above but still my phone is not starting and it's still in the Odin Fail mode.. Can anyone help please?

first download 26th February update from Sam mobile
in Sam mobile u have to register first and then you can download
after downloading the update unzip it you will see 5 files place it in a folder

after that download samsung mobile drivers from Google

also download Odin from sammobile

open Odin

since the mobile is in download mode when you connect it to your PC you will see it in odin

place bl ap cp homecsc in their respective fields

press start

that's it will automatically restart return to the original mode

note : in cs area if you dont want data loss place homecs

if you want fresh installation use CS file dont use homecs

installation takes 5minutes
