My samsung s9plus shows only 5.2mp sensor instead of 8mp.

Please suggest is it bug or something else.

That's not an issue..try with wide selfie and check..

Hi there,

We would like to inform you that the megapixel of the device camera will always depend on picture size. When the camera is in normal mode, it will click picture in (5.2 MP) but when you select the wide angel mode and 4:3 resolution, the size of the picture will change into (8.0 MP).

Hence highest megapixel in normal mode while using 4:3 ratios will be 5.2MP for front camera. Whereas for wider angle it will be 8MP.
