THIS IS ONLY INTENDED FOR INITIAL SETUP YOU CAN NOT ERASE IT UNTIL YOU ADD A PATTERN CODE.

ALL OF YOU WERE SHOCKED OF SAMSUNG REMOVING THE OEM UNLOCKING FEATURE IN DEVELOPER OPTION SO I DECIDED TO MAKE THE FEATURE COME BACK BUT IN SECURD WAY

1ST STEP. [ ONLY IN INITIAL SETUP ] SET UP SCREEN WILL BE SHOWN AFTER TYPING-ADDING EVERYTHING.

2ND STEP. YOU'LL BE REDIRECTED TO ADD LOCK SCREEN. AFTER ADDING YOUR SCREEN LOCK YOU NEED TO ADD ANOTHER LOCK CALLED AS OEM LOCKER [ YOU CANNOT ERASE THIS UNLESS THE OWNER OF THE PHONE UNLOCKS THE OEM LOCKER ].

3RD STEP. IF YOU WANT TO USE THE OEM BOOTLOADER THEN YOU'LL NEED TO ENTER THE OEM LOCKER PATTERN/PIN/ALPHABET

TO ENTER OEM BOOTLOADER.

[ REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN NOT REMOVE/RECREATE THE PATTERN/PIN/ALPHABET UNLESS YOU UPDATE TO A NEW VERSION OS OF ANDROID SO PLEASE WRITEIT DOWN ON A BOOK OR THE BOX PAPER GUIDANCE ]

THIS FEATURE WILL COME IF SAMSUNG SEES MY POST BECAUSE @DISTURBABHI HAD POSTED AND RECOMMENDED IT TO BRING THIS FEATURES BACK RIGHT NOW IN ONE UI 9 OR 10.

Bro, first of all, a massive thank you for supporting this campaign and giving me a shoutout! 🙌 Your 'OEM Locker' concept is genuinely brilliant and highly logical.
I would like to add another strong idea to this: Samsung could easily give users a clear choice during the 'Initial Device Setup'. When the phone boots up for the very first time, or when a shopkeeper is helping a customer set it up, there should be 2 clear options presented on the screen:
1. Full Security Mode: (For regular users who want strict Knox security and advanced anti-theft features).
2. Device Freedom / Developer Mode: (For power users, where the 'OEM Unlocking' toggle remains permanently available, allowing future modifications like rooting or flashing Custom ROMs).
This way, security becomes a 'Choice' rather than a forced restriction imposed by the company! But instead, Samsung's R&D team took the laziest route in One UI 8—they permanently deleted the feature and hard-locked the firmware. This is completely unfair to power users who pay full price for their hardware.
Your OEM Locker idea and this Setup Choice concept prove that dedicated community members can think in a much more practical and user-friendly way than a multi-billion dollar developer team. If we keep raising our voices with logical solutions like this together, Samsung will have no choice but to restore our hardware freedom in One UI 9 or upcoming updates. Let's keep pushing this! We paid for the hardware, we deserve the keys! 🔥💯

I have been raising this critical issue regarding the removal of the 'OEM Unlocking' feature, as our devices should not become forced e-waste. The community support for restoring this toggle is growing. To visualize the points we are making, I have shared a breakdown here:

No worries at all! I completely understand. The point of that link was just to highlight that removing the 'OEM Unlocking' toggle essentially turns our devices into 'forced e-waste' in the long run because we lose the ability to manage our own hardware once official support ends. I really appreciate you taking the time to engage with the community discussion anyway!

Samsung you really don't understand that once you add the feature and suddenly remove it. It is literally nothing of your company it's like your adding new features and removing it immediately as we use it. I have an j5 2016 which is like bit of next level and other phone's just get till next software updates to stop giving new or old to keep the phone's with us. I had clearly questioned you in support messages but still you don't give a features like that. I've said you to add an feature called as display management it is like it will give what all to maximize like brightness/resolution/contrast these all we need before updating then they won't simply yell at you and you can give an easy on everyone. If you don't give all features back I will do something that brings back
