⚠️ Charging Issues After One UI 8.5? Here's how to fix it! ⚡

If your phone is charging super slow, acting glitchy, or refusing to juice up since the One UI 8.5 update, you are definitely not alone. A lot of users are reporting this right now.

Since so many users are experiencing this exact same issue, please don't worry! Samsung is already aware of it and will launch a stable system optimizer and a software patch update soon to officially fix the bug.

In the meantime, the good news is that your charger and port are perfectly fine. This is just a software glitch where the new update messes with the USB port's configuration files, stopping it from recognizing fast charging.

Here's how you can quickly fix it yourself right now:

• Clear the USB Settings: Go to Settings > Apps. Tap the small filter icon next to "Your apps" and toggle on "Show system apps." Look for "USBSettings," go to Storage, and tap "Clear Data." This forces your port to reset and re-detect your charger correctly.

• Toggle Fast Charging: Go to Settings > Battery > Charging settings. Turn off "Fast Charging" and "Super Fast Charging," wait a few seconds, and flip them back on to refresh the charging system.

• Wipe Cache Partition: Turn off your phone, plug it into a laptop/PC via USB cable, and hold Volume Up + Power until the recovery menu pops up. Select "Wipe Cache Partition" to clear out leftover junk files from the update that cause power glitches.

It just shows fast charge and after few minutes it shows charger connected
And charge very very slow
Even though i have original samsung charger
I've tried with 3 different adapter and cables

Give these two quick steps a shot right now:

* **Clear USB Cache:** Go to Settings > Apps. Tap the small filter icon next to 'Your apps' and turn ON 'Show system apps'. Search for 'USBSettings', go to Storage, and tap 'Clear Data'. This flushes out the broken update files.
* **Clean the Port:** Turn off your phone, grab a wooden toothpick, and gently scrape the very bottom of your charging port. Pocket lint gets tightly packed down there over time. It blocks the high-speed data pins from clicking in fully, while letting the basic power pins touch. You will likely pull out a small ball of lint!

Try these two out and let me know.

Mine is not working also, but it's charging when using other brand chargers. Can you help with this.

But that's not the case... other phones are responding to that adapter & cable... only mine is not responding to any of the samsungs
