A major issue with Direct Voicemail 📼

On my previous post on Direct Voicemail, I've talked about the improvements that can be made to make the feature more convenient and interesting.

But, I didn't talk about the issue it just bought.

ISSUE:

When the Direct Voicemail feature is ON, if we get a call , the call will be transferred to Direct Voicemail after a certain period of time (that we have selected).

& Here is the issue, I have chosen "Swipe" as "Gesture to answer call".. means, to receive any call I have to swipe (not tap), this helps me/us prevent accidentally receive of calls (let's say the phone is in my pocket etc).

So, this "Swipe" action is very crucial for me & I think for many of us too.

----- but but but,when the call transferred to Direct Voicemail, the swipe action is not required to receive the call (during greeting or Voicemail recording). The app shows a "Answer" button , an accidental touch / tap can stop the Voicemail recording and receive the call without user's knowledge!

---- Samsung should make that "Answer" button as Gesture as "Swipe" too.

---- It's easy to decline the call too (without recording the whole Voicemail).. just tap the X!

---- The gesture should be "Swipe" instead of "Tap"

----- Whoever have designed this "Tap to answer" button.. man, you have lost my respect .

Gesture to answer calls: Swipe

Auto send to voicemail: 20 seconds

If you tap the "Answer" button accidentally, the call will be received.

& If you tap the "X" button accidentally, the call will be declined without recording the whole Voicemail.

- The gesture should be "Swipe" instead of "Tap".

Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send.)

Note: To ensure relevant log information is included in the error report, submit the report within 3 minutes of encountering the bug or error, and do not terminate (swipe away) the Samsung Members application until you are notified that the report has been sent. This can take up to 5 minutes.

Well you can use ACCIDENTAL TOUCH PROTECTION feature of Samsung as temporarily (or i say no other options)

But samsung should look over this issue/suggestion

I totally agree to your post about Direct Voicemail (previous one also)

But for now, i guess only option is to use accidental touch protection [or whatever it is]

Accidental touch protection doesn't work properly, specially when the phone screen is facing outward (in pocket).
