Overall, I like the One UI 8.5 update on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, as this update brings a lot of good and useful features that One UI 8 was lacking, such as:
1. The notification panel is now completely editable as per our requirements.
2. Refinements in the user interface give it a fresh new look.
3. Lock screen edit options.
4. I feel the UI is smoother now.
Apart from these things, I have noticed some bugs as well, such as:
1. Dark mode for all Google apps is broken.
2. The removal of options like 'show battery percentage,' etc.
3. The removal of all subheadings from the settings page sometimes makes it difficult to find a particular setting or option.
There are many more, and I also think the positives and negatives regarding One UI 8.5 vary from user to user, depending on which features each user prefers, and vice versa. In my opinion, everything is the same, and I only like that I now have the option to edit my notification panel as per my requirements 🤣 😁
Also, I give One UI 8.5 a rating of 4 out of 10.
