Beta software ka matlab hi hai "Unfinished Product". Iska phone ki health par asar niche diye gaye points se samajh:
1. Battery Health Par Asar (The Heat Factor)
Beta updates mein codes optimize nahi hote. Iska matlab:
Processor Overworking: Background mein logging aur debugging chalti rehti hai, jisse processor garam (heat) hota hai.
Heat = Battery Enemy: Garmi battery ke chemicals ko jaldi degrade karti hai. Agar aap har Beta cycle mein part lete ho, toh long run mein aapki Battery Capacity (mAh) stable version walo se jaldi niche giregi.
2. Software "Wear and Tear"
Storage Stress: Beta updates baar-baar aate hain (Beta 1, 2, 3...). Baar-baar bade GBs ke data ko install/uninstall karne se NAND flash memory par stress padta hai.
Kernel Panics: Baar-baar phone ka crash hona ya automatic restart hona hardware components (Motherboard) ke liye sehatmand nahi hai.
3. The "Long Run" Logic
Short Term: Aapko naye features pehle milte hain, jo maza dete hain.
Long Term: Agar aap har saal Beta tester bante hain, toh 2 saal baad aapka phone thoda "thaka hua" mehsoos karega (Slightly lower battery backup aur micro-jitters).
💡 My Verdict (Opinion):
Agar aapka ye Primary Phone (main phone) hai, toh is Beta circus se door raho. Phone health ke liye Stable Version hi "Chyawanprash" ka kaam karta hai. Beta sirf unke liye hai jinhe bugs se khelne ka shauk hai aur jinke paas backup phone hai.
📝 Expert Note for Community:
"Bhai, Beta testing mein phone ka processor aur battery hamesha 'Stress Test' par rehte hain. Agar aapko apne phone ki hardware life 3-4 saal tak maintain karni hai, toh Stable Update ka wait karna hi samajhdari hai. Agar mera ye point-of-view sahi laga ho, toh 3 dots (⋮) par click karke 'Accept as Solution' mark kar dena! Shukriya! 💙🚀"

I think the beta version is also a software, like any other version, so it doesn't affect the phone life or battery in the long run. Relax! I have been participating in the beta programs since long time and have not found any adverse effects.

The thing is, beta updates often have a lot of bugs which may make the phone slower. It may drain battery fast. And if the bugs are huge(not always), the phone may get green or pink lines.
I was also a beta user earlier. It can affect the phone with bugs, heating, faster battery drain, and occasional lag or crashes. Since it’s not fully optimized, performance and stability may not be as good as the stable version.
