Hey Samsung fam! 👋 As a tech enthusiast, one of my favorite underrated One UI features is Separate App Sound. It lets you route audio from specific apps (like music or YouTube) to a different output (Bluetooth headphones/speaker) while all other sounds (calls, notifications, games, etc.) stay on your phone's speaker.

This is super useful for:

Listening to music/podcasts on your Bluetooth device without interruptions from notifications or calls.

Using navigation apps (Google Maps/Waze) on phone speaker while music plays on car Bluetooth.

Watching videos or playing games on phone speaker while keeping media on external audio.

Workouts or travel — media on buds, everything else on phone.

How to Enable & Set It Up (Step-by-Step):

Open Settings → Sounds and vibration.

Scroll down and tap Separate app sound.

Toggle Turn on now (or the switch) to enable it.

Tap Select (or App) → Choose the multimedia app(s) you want to separate (e.g., Spotify, YouTube, Gaana, Netflix). You can add multiple apps (usually up to ~9).

Go back and select the Audio device for those apps — choose your connected Bluetooth headphones, earbuds, or speaker.

⚠️Important Notes:

Bluetooth devices only appear when they are paired and connected.

The selected app's sound will play on the chosen device only if it's different from your phone's main audio output.

Main audio (calls, notifications, other apps) stays on your phone speaker.

It remembers your settings, so you don't need to reconfigure every time.

Pro Tips:

Connect your Bluetooth device first before setting it up.

If it doesn't work perfectly after a One UI update, toggle the feature off and on again, or restart your phone.

Combine it with Modes and Routines for automatic activation (e.g., when Bluetooth connects during driving or workout).

For even finer volume control per app, check the Sound Assistant module in Good Lock (Galaxy Store).
