Samsung hasn’t published an official 8.5 device list yet. However, reputable coverage says the One UI 8.5 roster will “more or less” mirror the devices that get One UI 8—so Tab A9/A9+ are expected to receive 8.5 after their Android 16 baseline, but this is not officially confirmed yet..

Galaxy M36 is expected to get One UI 8.5 as it mirrors M35/A35 eligibility pattern. M35 got One UI 8, so M36 should follow .

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is expected to receive the One UI 8.5 update, which is currently in the testing phase for several Samsung models as of late January 2026
The device itself is currently running One UI 8.0, with 6 years of promised OS upgrades.

Samsung has begun internal testing of the One UI 8.5 update (Android 16 QPR2) for the Galaxy M07, spotted with build number M075FXXU3CZA6 in India/Nepal

Note: As this is an early internal test (CZA6), it is not yet available to the public.

Based on the latest reports and Samsung's update policies as of January 2026, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will not receive the One UI 8.5 update (or One UI 8.0/Android 16).

The stable release of Samsung One UI 8.5 is expected to arrive for flagship devices, including potential support for the Galaxy S21 FE, around March–April 2026, following the initial rollout for the S26 series in late February 2026. While beta testing for newer models began in December 2025, the S21 FE may receive the update later in the cycle as part of the broader rollout to older devices.
